The lessons will be conducted by swimming instructors with experience in working with children with special needs. Examples of lessons include being comfortable in the water; understanding the instructions; learning about water safety, etc. |
Roller Blading | Daily 45 minutes | $50/session | Lessons are structured to allow children to explore and to progressively learn the steps of roller blading. |
Rock Climbing | Weekly 60 minutes | $50/session | Rock climbing helps develop children’s physical fitness. The routes are designed to encourage problem solving skills, and develops body coordination skills. |
Sports: Football; basketball | Weekly 45 minutes | $50/session | Programs include following instructions in catching, kicking, throwing, tossing |
Kinesiology and physical activities | Daily; weekly 60 minutes | $50/session | The goal of this program is to develop physical competence. Lessons are structured based on gross, fine, and oral motor activities such as walking, running, cycling, jumping, kicking, blowing, etc. |
Arts and crafts: Painting; drawing; | Daily; Weekly 90 minutes | Children learn to follow instructions in cutting, coloring, painting, and pasting. Music movements: | Daily 45 minutes | Sing along with music and follow actions based on the songs. The movements are designed to encourage gross motor and fine motor imitation skills. | |
Body Balance | The sessions are designed to address children’s flexibility, which reduces their changes of injury. The lessons are based on the children’s gross motor needs and focus on helping the children’s body awareness, mindfulness, and emotional regulation. |
